What about the rest of us?

Guess who is financing the outfit running the Al Gross-below-the-belt-style ads against Dave Bronson? If you guessed unions and fellow travelers, you win.

The Putting Alaskans First Committee, which busily is punching away at Bronson, has gathered up $34,624 to slap him around à la Gross in the hopes of getting their pal, Forrest Dunbar elected on May 11 in the mayoral runoff to keep the status oh-so-very-quo.

The list of contributors to the “committee” looks like an acronym salad: The IBEW, ASEA/FASCME Local PAC, the INUPAT Political Legislative Education Committee, the NEA-Alaska PACE, the IUOE Local 302 PAC, and the Alaska Center all have kicked in thousands of dollars. The AFL-CIO tossed in $20,000.

That does not begin to show the thousands they have poured into Dunbar’s election campaign. These guys must really think they will do well under Dunbar & Co.

The question is: Would the rest of us?

Open your eyes, people. Alaska is being treated like a pawn by the DNC in Washington as they move their money around.

They fund campaigns for liberal politicians and they pushed through Ranked Choice Voting. The DNC has an obvious agenda to turn Alaska blue.

So all you who pride yourselves as “True Alaskans” and “Rough and Tumble” and “Sourdoughs” and “We don’t care how they do it outside” and “fierce independents” …. get your sourdough backside off the couch and VOTE. Or quit calling yourself “fierce”. There’s no ferocity in a couch potato.

You have respect the organization of the Democrats. Year in Year out they are always in the back ground for all their candidates big or small.
Big question is where is the Republican machine funding Bronson?
