At first I thought this was a joke and was surprised to see our department of law taking on such a consumer issue. It seems Alaska is taken advantage of in many areas of the consumer arena. I refuse to order from any outside business that tacks on a ‘surcharge’ simply for our location, on top of the already expected higher shipping costs, and despite using the same shipping room and process that they use for all other shipments to other states.
