Pelosi’s tantrum

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s childish, petty ripping up of President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech only gets better.

Now, news reports say video of the supposedly spontaneous event after Trump’s speech shows she tore small rips in the paper beforehand so her show would go off without a problem. It was a planned show, it turns out, aimed at detracting from what was one of Trump’s best speeches.

If the Left, in a contemplative moment some time in the future, ever wonders why so many Americans prefer Donald Trump with all his warts and flaws to any Democratic candidate, it should review Democrats’ conduct over the past three years, culminating with Pelosi’s puerile temper tantrum on national television.

It is not often you see the person who is third in line for succession to the presidency act so publicly like a spoiled brat. She does not like Trump. America gets that, but she is the speaker of the House, occupying the same position as political giants such as Henry Clay, Sam Rayburn and Tip O’Neill. Is it impossible to imagine any one of them acting as Pelosi acted after Trump’s speech.

The speaker needs to get a grasp on reality. She and her cohorts lost their relentless attempt to unseat the president by hook or by crook and undo the 2016 election. They failed. It is time for Pelosi & Co. to get over it and time for her to acquire the dignity required for her job.

The American people expect more and certainly deserve better than they got from her antics.

Speaker Pelosi lost her speakership when she gave in to those far left wing nuts in her caucus and went along with the continued hate war they have waged on the Nation and the President for these three long years.

Again I ask, when do we get to see the consequences of actions like this? Do we the people ever again get to live in a world where there are actions for your behavior? Or is this the type of thing that only happens to children in well behaved homes? Today instead of hi profile hero’s , we have derelict scum showcasing outrageous behavior which God forbid will be followed by many

“George Washington University Law professor Jonathan Turley called for Pelosi to step down following her conduct, calling her a ‘partisan troll.’”

“She represents the House as an institution — both Republicans and Democrats. Instead, she decided to become little more than a partisan troll from an elevated position. The protests of the Democratic members also reached a new low for the House. Pelosi did not gavel out the protest. She seemed to join it.”

“It was the tradition of the House that a speaker must remain in stone-faced neutrality no matter what comes off that podium. The tradition ended last night with one of the more shameful and inglorious moments of the House in its history. Rather than wait until she left the floor, she decided to demonstrate against the President as part of the State of the Union and from the Speaker’s chair. That made it a statement not of Pelosi but of the House,” Turley concluded. “For those of us who truly love the House as an institution, it was one of the lowest moments to unfold on the floor. That is why I argue that, if Pelosi does not apologize and agree to honor the principle of neutrality and civility at the State of the Union, she should resign as speaker.”

    Hear, hear.

This was the ultimate VIRTUE SIGNAL.
Meaning that we are better than you! More sophisticated, More urbane, truly progressive, smarter, more intelligent, educated etc etc etc.

And yet the dummies can’t win an election against salt of the earth Americans who want a “normal” America with a nuclear traditional family as it’s core.

That is why Bernie is in the lead on the sad side. He mostly talks economics and even most demos don’t want to hear from the far laugh loose canon brigade.

    Got it – Get it.
